How to watch

Watching cricket: broadcasters as the ICC and the boards have announced them, with dates.

Broadcast deals change by event and by season, so this page lists only what the ICC or a national board has itself announced, with the date of each announcement. We do not quote subscription prices or rights values, and where a list was not published or not read, we say so.

How we list broadcasters

Every entry below names the body that announced it and when. A broadcaster on this list for one event or season is not necessarily the broadcaster for the next. Where the ICC or a board published a list we could not open, we say so rather than fill the gap. No prices are given.

ICC events

Women's T20 World Cup 2026 (ICC announcements, June 2026)

The tournament is finished (Australia won on 5 July 2026), but this is the most detailed ICC broadcast list in our research. Through search summaries of the ICC's broadcast article and release:

Remaining territoriesICC.tv

A separate ICC release, seen by its headline, announced YouTube coverage to widen access to the tournament in selected markets.

Men's T20 World Cup 2026 (ICC guide, 6 February 2026)

The ICC's tournament guide showed its broadcast partners as logos: Star Sports, JioHotstar, Sky Sports, SuperSport, Willow, Prime Video, Starzplay, myco, PTV Sports, ESPN, Sky (New Zealand), TSM, Dialog and ICC.tv. The territory for each was on a separate ICC page that our research did not open, so we do not pair broadcasters with countries for this event.

ICC cricket in Australia, 2024 to 2027

The ICC and Amazon announced a four-year deal making Prime Video the home of ICC cricket in Australia from 2024 to 2027 (ICC news, through a search summary).

England (ECB)

For England men's Tests against Pakistan in August and September 2026, the ECB said on 14 August 2026:

  • Live coverage on Sky Sports Cricket, through Sky or NOW.
  • Daily highlights on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
  • Ball-by-ball radio on BBC Test Match Special and Radio 5 Sports Extra, streamed on BBC Sounds.
  • Highlights and scores on the ECB website and the England Cricket app.

The Hundred publishes its own "where to watch" page for 2026. Our research saw only its title, so its broadcasters are not listed here.

Australia (Cricket Australia)

Cricket Australia's 2026-27 summer schedule says:

  • Men's Tests and all women's internationals are on Foxtel and Seven, streamed on Kayo and 7Plus.
  • Men's white-ball internationals are on Foxtel and Kayo only, under a rights agreement that runs to 2031.

For Australia's Tests away in South Africa in October 2026, Cricket Australia's preview of the second Test says the series is shown in Australia only on Kayo and Fox Cricket (through a search summary).

Cricket Australia's statements for the WBBL and BBL were not part of our research.

India (BCCI)

In a media advisory of 31 August 2023, the BCCI announced that Viacom18 Media had won the media rights for BCCI international and domestic matches from September 2023 to March 2028. That is the BCCI's statement as of 2023; our research did not check whether the rights holder's name or structure has changed since. Our research found no separate broadcaster statement for the IPL or the WPL, so we name none for them.

Not covered

The ICC's original rights announcements for India, the UK and other markets for the current cycle were not read; the ICC entries above come from 2026 event listings. Broadcasters for South Africa's, New Zealand's, Pakistan's and the West Indies' home cricket, and for the other franchise leagues, were not in our research.

Results for the events mentioned here are on Men's T20 World Cup, Women's T20 World Cup, major Test series and the Ashes.
